Description

For the past six years, the Big Cat Photo Shoot has been our most popular workshop. Now we’ve made it even better. Your day starts with an organised workshop, held in the purpose-built conference room. Professional wildlife photographer Chris Weston will teach the essential skills and techniques needed to create compelling wildlife images, drawing inspiration from his extensive experience in the field. Practical demonstrations are combined with descriptions of how specific images were made, giving you all the information you need to put theory into practice. A course booklet, covering all the technqiues described, is included in the course fee.

During lunch, we’ve teamed up with photographic retailer Crooked Imaging who will demonstrate all kinds of useful gear that you can try out, test and, if you want, buy.

After lunch, we head into the Big Cat centre to spend an afternoon photographing tigers, snow leopards, cheetahs, mountian lions and other species of big cat. Working with a designated guide, we will encourage the cats into photo-friendly positions with natural backdrops, getting them to display some of their natural behaviour, for fantastic action shots as well as frame filling portraits. The morning’s tuition will help to ensure you capture all the action.
