Description
Chris Weston Masters’ Series courses are designed for the intermediate level photographers. During classroom sessions we cover the key camera and photographic techniques that lead to compelling images, including selecting the appropriate camera settings, mastering exposure and managing contrast, using technical filter (e.g. graduated neutral density and polarizers), effective focusing, calculating and managing depth of field and mastering hyperfocal distance focusing. Further we explore and explain the art of composition leading to a comprehensive understanding of what makes a classic landscape photograph.
The tuition is interspersed with plenty of time to practice new techniques in the field along the beautiful Jurassic Coast - a designated World Heritage Site - in Dorset. Chris is on hand throughout each field session to demonstrate all the skills and techniques, to answer questions and to provide guidance on ways to approach landscape photography that you may not previously have considered.
On completion of the course we will provide a full set of course notes to take away with you.
