Photograph some of Europe’s most spectacular wildlife in the natural setting of the Bavarian Forest National Park, Germany. Brown bears, wolves and lynx against a backdrop of autumn colours are the focus of our 4-day wildlife adventure, and you’ll also have an opportunity to capture images of bison, wild boar, red deer, otters and numerous species of birds of prey. With an inclusive package, we’ve come up with a unique workshop that will ensure you capture once-in-a-lifetime images of some of Europe’s most endangered and enigmatic species.

Description

The spacious wildlife enclosures and large aviaries found in this area of the Bavarian Forest National Park provide us with over 30-species of mountain-forest animals to photograph, within a stunning natural environment.

The population includes grey wolves and brown bears, as well as animals re-introduced to their native habitats, such as Eurasian lynx and black stork.

We will also have an opportunity to photograph the endangered European bison, deer, wild boars, and river otters. The selection of birds includes eagle owls, Ural owls and grouse.

Over the course of three days in the Park, we will enjoy numerous opportunities to photograph spectacular images of Europe’s top predators and endangered wildlife in a completely natural forest setting. And professional wildlife photographer Chris Weston will be your tutor throughout the course, helping you learn what you want to know and create the images you’ve come to get.
