Tooth and claw
8th June 2006
Having transferred to Limpopo for the final leg of our African adventure, we enjoy three days of encounters of the closest kind. Our first sighting is of six white rhinos, including a three-month old calf, who's feet seemed to lack co-ordination with its body. We then attach the wide-angle lenses for a close up view of a crocodile, before a young elephant tries to join us in the front seat of the jeep! Further encounters with lions and leopards, and a walk in the bush with an orphan lion cub, finish off the trip on a high.
