Synopsis

Masters’ series - Landscape: Lakes & Waterfalls

A less strenuous landscape photography holiday, we are based in beautiful Slovakia, just 2-hours from the UK. The Tatra Mountains National Park boasts some of Europe’s most spectacular scenery and is widely considered the last best wilderness on the continent. On this week-long tour - in partnership with Mountain Paradise - we will visit the best, hand-picked locations to reveal unspoiled landscapes, majestic waterfalls and emerald-coloured lakes set against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains - seven days of pure photographic indulgence.

Highlights

Description

Heaven is a place on Earth ... and it can be found in the Tatra Mountains National Park, in Slovakia - just two hours away from the UK. We have explored its peaks and valleys, its castles and its lakes, to bring you one of the best value photographic landscape holidays you’ll find anywhere.

With inclusive flights from Manchester or Luton airports direct to Kosice, Slovakia, we make the most of our time in the field visiting locations in and around Strbske Lake with its high-mountain backdrop, Spiš Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and around the misty valleys of the Park with its sparkling waterfalls

All of our photographic locations have been thoroughly researched, including assessing the best stand-points for sunrise and sunset images, ensuring that all you need to do is concentrate on your photography, putting into practice the hints, tips and techniques offered by your professional photographer leader, to capture the very best images possible of this truly magical land.

With small groups - maximum 8 guests - we cater for all levels of photographic skill, and the holiday is suitable for digital photographers as well as film, whether 35mm, medium or large format users.

Accommodation is in a private chalet with full facilities. The cuisine is excellent and included throughout the trip and at just £945.00 per person including flights, we believe this is one of the best value for money photographic landscape holidays available.

Gift to the Tatra Foundation
For every booking made, we will donate £100.00 to the Tatra Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation set up in conjunction with the Animals on the Edge program of Living Earth to provide funding for conservation initiatives throughout Tatra Mountains National Park. The Foundation is closely tied to Chris Weston’s work with the Animals on the Edge project, details of which can be found on the AOTE website.
