“This image was shot as part of a new project I’m working on, photographing terrestrial mammals in water. I’d wanted to use my Ewa Marine underwater housing but couldn’t get close enough safely to use the 24-70mm zoom lens that the housing’s designed for. So I switched to the longer 70-200mm telephoto zoom and hoped it (and me) wouldn’t get a dunking.”
